It also aims for this educational institution to contribute to serving the local community in a way that supports security and stability in southern Libya in general and the border areas in particular.<\/p>\n<p>The establishment of the university goes back to Resolution of the General People\u2019s Committee (formerly) No. 535 of 2007 regarding the reorganisation of universities and higher institutes, stipulating the establishment of the University of the Valley, followed by 8 colleges geographically distributed between the cities of Murzuq, Ubari, and Ghat. This decision was reinforced by the issuance of Resolution No. 138 of the Council of Ministers of the Government of the National Accord. For the year 2017 AD, regarding the establishment of the University of Fezzan, headquartered in the city of Murzuq, which includes 8 colleges, The College of Nursing and the College of Engineering Al-Raqiba were also added pursuant to the decision of the Minister of Education of the Government of National Accord No. 1544 of 2018 AD regarding the addition of colleges to the University of Fezzan.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-4 vc_col-has-fill\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner vc_custom_1658595884640\"><div
