\u25cf Sponsored by the Presidency of Fazzan University, and aimed at building the capacities of the deans of the university's colleges, developing their skills, enhancing their performance, and raising their technical and administrative levels, a training workshop titled \"Strategic Planning and Measurement of Institutional Performance Indicators (KBLIS)\" commenced yesterday morning, Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the headquarters of the Arab Group for Training and Publishing (AGCTP) in Cairo, Egypt.<\/p>\n

\u25cf The workshop targeted the first group, which includes the University\u2019s Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ibrahim Al-Mahdi Ahmed, and the deans of Fezzan University\u2019s colleges, led by Dr. Abdulkader Abu Ghararah, Dean of the Faculty of Education; Dr. Hassan Al-Taher, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law; Dr. Abu Bakr Jaber, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Qatroun; and Dr. Zamzam Al-Sharif, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.<\/p>\n

\u25cf The workshop will continue for a total of five consecutive days, starting from the aforementioned Sunday until Thursday, February 13, 2025, totaling 25 full training hours, with an average of 5 actual training hours per day divided into theoretical and practical sessions.<\/p>\n

\u25cf The objectives of this workshop are to:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Familiarize trainees with the various concepts and terminology of strategic planning.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Equip trainees with strategic planning skills.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Equip trainees with skills in developing action plans.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Explain the relationship between strategic planning and strategic management to trainees.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Equip trainees with skills to evaluate strategic plans.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Equip trainees with skills to develop a strategic plan using the Pfeffer model.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Introduce trainees to some methods of measuring institutional performance.<\/p>\n

- Equip the trainee with skills to apply the Balanced Scorecard in strategic planning.<\/p>\n

- Equip the trainee with skills to measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Core content of the course:<\/p>\n

* Introduction to strategic management.<\/p>\n

* Cloud applications for managing higher education institutions.<\/p>\n

* The use of artificial intelligence in managing higher education institutions.<\/p>\n

* Application of some artificial intelligence tools in institutional management.<\/p>\n

* Innovation and creative thinking.<\/p>\n
