Abstract
The research starts from the problem of understanding the nature of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, by analyzing the wars launched by Israel in the Gaza Strip. The focus is on the “Al-Aqsa Flood Operation” as a pivotal event, by studying its contexts, causes and repercussions at various levels. This research aims to review the history of the Israeli wars on the Gaza Strip, read the Al-Aqsa Flood operation in its historical and political context, and analyze the causes, motives and repercussions of it . The study relies on the historical and the descriptive analytical method through three main axes. The research reached a number of results and recommendations that could benefit Palestinian resistance factions in confronting Israeli aggression, lifting the siege on Gaza, and ending the occupation
