The Launch of the Scientific Seminar Entitled “Inter-Trading Between Libya and Sub-Saharan Countries: Opportunities and Challenges”

● This morning, Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 10:30 AM, the scientific seminar organized by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Qatroun, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Accounting in Murzuq, commenced in the Jewel Hall in the city of Qatroun. The seminar is titled: “Inter-Trading Between Libya and Sub-Saharan Countries:

Opportunities and Challenges,” with the slogan: “To Enhance Joint Economic Cooperation.” It features a select group of faculty members specializing in economics, accounting, finance, and business, alongside several academics and economic experts, as well as invited delegations, esteemed guests, and honorable visitors.

● Attendees at the seminar included Prof. Mahdi Milad Al-Jadi, President of the University, Prof. Ibrahim Mahdi Ahmed, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mr. Al-Sanusi Muhammad Saleh, the Secretary General, deans of faculties, directors of departments, centers, offices, and sections, along with several university staff members.

● The seminar's activities were inaugurated with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by student Hassan Jaber Muhammad, which added a spiritual atmosphere to the event's opening. This was followed by the Libyan national anthem, symbolizing comprehensive national unity and a spirit of belonging to Libya. Subsequently, the official opening speeches for the seminar began, where Prof. Mahdi Milad, the university president, delivered his address for this scientific event, which will be published later on the university's page.
