● The university administration organized a celebration this morning, Monday, May 26, 2025, to mark the opening of the university's administrative headquarters in the city of Murzuq.

On the sidelines of the inauguration celebration, the University Council held its fourth regular meeting for the year of 2025 on Monday, May 26, 2025, in the meeting hall at the general administration headquarters in Murzuq. The meeting was chaired by Professor. Al-Mahdi Milad Al-Jadi, the university president, with the attendance of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Secretary General, the Registrar General, and the deans of the faculties, along with the directors of centers and departments to discuss the proposed agenda as follows:

- Review and approval of the previous minutes.

- Presentation of incoming correspondence.

- Monitor the progress of studies in the faculties for the spring semester (2025).

- Follow up on the quality and institutional accreditation file.

- Launch the first issue of the Fezzan University Cultural and Scientific Magazine.

- Present the report of the committee monitoring the university's entry into the QS ranking.

- Any other business arising.
