Fezzan University signs an academic memorandum of understanding with the University of Sfax, Tunisia.

● As part of enhancing scientific and academic cooperation between Libyan universities and their Tunisian counterparts, Fezzan University (Libya) and the University of Sfax (Tunisia) signed today, Monday (28-7-2025), in the city of Sfax, Tunisia, a memorandum of understanding for academic and research cooperation.
● The signing ceremony was attended by:
- Prof. Mahdi Milad Al-Jadi, President of Fezzan University.
- Prof. Ahmed Al-Haj Qassem, President of the University of Sfax.
- Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Dardir, Director of the International Cooperation Office at Fezzan University.
- Prof. Nasr Al-Din Al-Bashir Al-Arabi, Advisor at the Ministry of Education.
in addition to officials from both sides.
● This agreement aims to support academic exchange programs and develop joint research projects, in addition to launching training and development programs, and establishing a joint research center focused on economic and social studies, which contributes to supporting community development efforts in the southern regions of Libya and Tunisia.
● It is worth noting that this step comes within Fezzan University's pursuit of academic openness to regional and international environments, and as part of its vision to build strategic partnerships that contribute to the development of its educational and research programs.
