Fezzan University
Fezzan University signs an academic memorandum of understanding with the University of Sfax, Tunisia.

● As part of enhancing scientific and academic cooperation between Libyan universities and their Tunisian counterparts, Fezzan University (Libya) and the University of Sfax (Tunisia) signed today, Monday (28-7-2025), in the city of Sfax, Tunisia, a memorandum of understanding for academic and research cooperation.
● The signing ceremony was attended by:
- Prof. Mahdi Milad Al-Jadi, President of Fezzan University.
- Prof. Ahmed Al-Haj Qassem, President of the University of Sfax.
- Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Dardir, Director of the International Cooperation Office at Fezzan University.
- Prof. Nasr Al-Din Al-Bashir Al-Arabi, Advisor at the Ministry of Education.
بالإضافة إلى حضور مسٶولين من الطرفين۔
● تهدف هذه الاتفاقية إلى دعم برامج التبادل الأكاديمي وتطوير المشاريع البحثية المشتركة، بالإضافة إلى إطلاق برامج للتكوين والتدريب، وتأسيس مركز بحثي مشترك يُعنى بالدراسات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية بما يسهم في دعم جهود التنمية المجتمعية في مناطق الجنوب الليبي والتونسي.
● جدير بالذكر أن هذه الخطوة تأتي في إطار سعي جامعة فزان نحو الانفتاح الأكاديمي على المحيطين الإقليمي والدولي، وضمن رؤيتها الرامية إلى بناء شراكات إستراتيجية تُسهم في تطوير برامجها التعليمية والبحثية.
