In a new research achievement, engineering students at the University of Fazzan design an electronic system simulating artificial intelligence to detect brain tumors

● On the morning of Thursday, (31-7-2025)، the Faculty of Engineering at Fezzan University witnessed the discussion of a graduation project in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Computer Department) titled "Development of an Electronic System Simulating Artificial Intelligence for Brain Tumor Detection Using Alex Net in Libya". The project was prepared and presented by: Abdul Hadi Masoud Abdul Qader and Munir Mohammed Masoud, under the supervision of Mr. Noah Baraka Al-Zayani.
● The discussion committee included: Dr. Abu Salah Al-Akhdar (session chair), Dr. Hamdi Al-Musleh (first examiner), and Ms. Souad Abubakr Ghaith (second examiner).
This research project aims to demonstrate the level of academic excellence and research superiority of undergraduate students, and to illustrate the college's direction towards employing artificial intelligence in health services, within a scientific vision that supports community issues.
● It is worth noting that this research project received significant praise from the discussion committee and attendees, being regarded as a step in the right direction in the scientific and research journey of the Faculty of Engineering.
