Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Salheen participates in a workshop on Digital Libraries and Digital Repositories in the Sultanate of Oman
Abdul Salam Al-Saleheen, the Director of the Libraries and Publishing Department at the university, participated in a specialized training course in the field of library science titled "Digital Library and Digital Repository," organized by the Information and Documentation Center at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Sultanate of Oman.
- The course was held in the Omani capital, Muscat, from January 4 to January 13, 2023.
- The aim of the course is to enhance participants' skills in managing digital libraries and creating digital repositories, which contributes to the development of information infrastructure and supports scientific research.
- It is worth noting that this course is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to keep pace with technological advancements in the field of information management, support scientific research, and enhance collaboration among Arab academic institutions in the areas of digital libraries and research repositories.
