The Sixth Regular Meeting of the University Council for the Year (2025)

● The University Council held its sixth regular meeting for the current year (2025) today, Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the main conference hall of the university's general administration building in Murzuq. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Al-Mahdi Milad Al-Jadi, the President of the University, and attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the General Registrar, the Secretary-General, Deans of the Colleges, and Directors of the centers, departments, and offices affiliated with the university. The council members discussed the proposed agenda as follows:
- Review and approval of the previous minutes.
- Presentation of incoming correspondence.
- Present the examination results for the Spring semester (2025) in preparation for the start of the academic year (2025/2026).
- Follow up on the quality and institutional accreditation file.
- Present the report of the committee monitoring the university's entry into the QS ranking.
- Approve the cooperation agreement with the University of Sfax, Tunisia.
- Any other business arising.
