International Scientific Conference (Civilizational Heritage) of Fezzan and Anticipating the Future

The interest in the cultural heritage of nations has become a distinguishing characteristic of contemporary scientific research institutions, especially among researchers, as well as within society at large. From this perspective, and in belief of the authenticity of the cultural heritage of Fezzan throughout the ages, this scientific conference has been organized in an attempt to understand the roots of Fezzan's civilization and its origins, as well as the extent to which it has been influenced by its geographical environment, alongside the accompanying political, economic, and social conditions. This effort aims to understand and design plans for building a prosperous future based on the solid foundation of Fezzani heritage. This scientific initiative raises numerous questions and shares various ideas across its themes, but it centers on a specific issue: the nature of the cultural heritage of Fezzan, its supporting elements, its origins, and how to envision Fezzan's future through this heritage.
