Speech of the Mayor - Appointed - of the Municipal Council of Qatroun at the Symposium on Trade Between Libya and Sub-Saharan Countries: Opportunities and Challenges.

● Mr. Abdul Qadir Al-Mahdi Hassan, the appointed Mayor of the Qatroun Municipal Council, delivered a speech during the scientific symposium held under the slogan "To Enhance Economic Cooperation" in the Jewel Hall in the city of Qatroun, where he stated:
● In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the best of prayers and peace be upon him.
– Distinguished attendees.
– Our esteemed guests.
– I greet you with the greeting of Islam; peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
– Dear guests, we say to you:
– You are most welcome, and we are very happy to have you with us in the Municipality of Qatroun as part of the symposium held under the title "Trade Between Libya and Sub-Saharan Countries – Opportunities and Challenges" with the slogan: "To Enhance Economic Cooperation."
● Ladies and gentlemen, attendees.
– This trade is not a recent phenomenon; it has existed throughout history and in previous periods, especially in the southern regions of Libya, due to the geographical location of these areas and the capabilities and competencies present.
● We look forward to deriving beneficial outcomes from this scientific symposium that will serve these regions and enhance trade through this scientific platform.
● I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the esteemed staff of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Qatroun for organizing this significant scientific event, which undoubtedly has a positive, good, and clear impact on the individual and the community.
● In conclusion.
- I extend my warmest welcome to you and to our esteemed guests, wishing them a pleasant stay. My gratitude goes to everyone, hoping that we will all witness the fruits of this work in the development of our regions, aiming to achieve stability, trade, and prosperity throughout Libya.
