Post-Publication Corrections Policy
The journal applies formal procedures to correct errors in published articles, ensuring the integrity of academic research.
Types of Corrections:
- Correction Notice:
Issued for significant errors affecting results or conclusions; corrected versions are published and linked to the original article. - Minor Corrections:
Address typographical or non-critical errors that do not affect research validity. - Expression of Concern:
Published when serious doubts arise regarding the credibility of a study. - Retraction:
Applied in cases of misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, data manipulation), where findings are deemed unreliable.
Correction Procedures:
- Submission of Request:
A formal request must be submitted, preferably approved by all authors. - Editorial Review:
The editorial board evaluates the request and may require supporting documentation. - Linking System:
Corrections are electronically linked to the original publication to ensure transparency.
Authors are strongly encouraged to contact the editorial board immediately upon identifying any errors after publication.
